Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade has incredibly worked hard, dishing out good content since appearing in the music industry as at 2009/10 establishing herself as one of the best in the game. Yemi is so talented that she can sing beautifully in French and Swahili, which makes her music reach wider audience. This particular feat she achieved has seen her collaborated with several other stars within the African continent.
Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian performer Queen, who is marked on to the Mavin tradition name as a recording craftsman and marked an administration and distributing manage Jayz’s Roc Nation. The “Malo” crooner on the other hand continues to be applauded by many for the feats she has achieved as Nigeria leading female singer. Her colleagues from the upper west side are becoming particularly fond of her musical artistry, which often has her tipped by them as the Beyoncé of Africa (or in the words of hip-hop royal, Fat Joe, ‘the African Rihanna type’) basically to ascertain her status as queen – by evidence of the fantastic job she is doing in trail blazing the Africa (to the world) movement with major moves on the global front.
However, ongoing conversations have been on ground for a while especially since the release of Malo, where she featured Wizkid, in one of the lyrics, she referred to herself as the number one African bad girl. This has raised a standard and introduced a comparison of sorts on who the actual African music queen is.
if you gonna decide, who would you say the real music queen is – Tiwa Savage or Yemi Alade?
