Miami persevered its lag of landing 5-superstar recruits Thursday with defensive terminate Armondo Blount asserting his dedication to the Hurricanes.
Blount is a 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive terminate in the 2025 class out of Miami Central Senior High Faculty. He’s the No. 4 total recruit –and the end defensive terminate — in the ESPN Junior 300, providing a wide gain for Mario Cristobal and his staff.
Blount additionally had Florida Dispute, Ohio Dispute, Oklahoma and USC among his finalists.

Here’s the third class in a row that Cristobal has been ready so to add a 5-superstar recruit. He started in the 2023 class with offensive linemen Francis Mauigoa and Samson Okunlola, persevered with wide receiver JoJo Trader in 2024, and now has Blount so to add to that checklist.
Miami has three commitments in the 2025 class, with receiver Waden Charles (No. 272) additionally ranked in the ESPN 300. Quarterback Luke Nickel is now not currently ranked.
