NEPC govt director Ezra Yakusak acknowledged this at a one-day workshop for rising exporters, on Wednesday in Owerri.
Mr Yakusak, represented by NEPC’s coordinator in Imo, Anthony Ajuruchi, acknowledged with the earnings milestone reached, the council might well well hope to surpass its 2022 earnings of $4.8 billion in 2023.
Mr Yakusak told newly registered exporters to be taught from their skilled counterparts. He told winning exporters to allotment their experiences with new exporters to amplify the series of gamers in non-oil exports enterprise in Imo and develop the financial system of Imo and Nigeria.
“This workshop is geared toward constructing the morale of new exporters when they be taught from present, winning exporters so that we are succesful of amplify the series of exporters within the affirm and Nigeria by extension,” Mr Yakusak acknowledged.
Mr Yakusak added, “The extra folk endeavor into the exports enterprise, the extra earnings for the affirm and the extra pronounce of Nigeria’s crude home product (GDP) and expectantly we are succesful of surpass the gains of the outdated year.”
