Katsina speaker emerges as deputy chairman of state legislatures’ convention

Aminu Magaji, the executive press secretary (CPS) to the assembly, confirmed this to newsmen in Katsina on Sunday.

Per him, that is sequel to the consensus reached by the aspirants to step down in favour of Yahaya-Daura in thought of his outstanding management qualities.

He acknowledged the Katsina Speaker became also chosen for his tall experience, commitment, and consistency in exciting the Nigerian legislature forward.

Mr Magaji acknowledged the election which took dilemma in Abuja also noticed the emergence of the Speaker of the Oyo Pronounce Home of Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, as chairman of the Convention.

“The Chairman, his deputy, and other executive people straight took the oath of dilemma of enterprise after the election,” he acknowledged.

Mr Ogundoyin emerged because the chairman of the Convention following the withdrawal of the Speaker of the Ogun Pronounce Home of Assembly, Taiwo Oluomo.

The constitution of the Convention stipulates a two-year length of time of dilemma of enterprise for its elected officials to be circled between the northern and southern parts of the country.
